About this model builder gift
Model builders live by patience. A kit that looks simple on the box can eat a whole winter of evenings: sanding seams, test-fitting parts, mixing a wash for weathering, waiting on paint to cure. Their workbench is half sacred, half disaster, and they know exactly where every tiny piece is. The gifts that land are the ones that nod to that. A tee for club meetups and the hobby shop, a hoodie for the cold garage or basement where the work happens, a mug that sits safely away from the glue and thinner. Make it theirs by changing the second line to the scale or subject they love: 1/35 armor, 1/72 aircraft, ships, sci-fi kits, railroad scenes. Or add their name, a build-club name or a year. Because many builders are also dedicated hobbyists, a design that jokes about the stash of unbuilt kits tends to get a laugh and a photo.

- A hoodie for the workshopGarages and basements run cold, and a hoodie with their name or club on it is what they'll pull on for long evenings at the bench.
- A mug that stays off the workbenchAn 11 oz mug with their name gives them a coffee cup that's clearly theirs, kept well clear of the paints and cement.
