About this quality director gift
A quality director usually sits between the people making the product and the people who have to answer for it, which means their days are full of audits, root-cause meetings, customer complaints and the occasional late-night call about a bad lot. They tend to be the person who notices the small thing nobody else saw, and they often carry a lot of responsibility without much public credit. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. Put the title on a shirt or mug and it becomes a little joke between them and the people who know what the job is. Add their department, their site or their company's initials if they're comfortable with that, and it stops being a generic office tee. A hoodie is a good pick for the plant floor or the cold conference room, and a mug suits the desk where they spend the most hours. The title on its own is already a nod to the work, so you don't need to add much.
