About this radio host gift
Radio hosts spend their days talking to a microphone that doesn't talk back, building a morning show or a late-night call-in from songs, news and whatever happened in the parking lot that morning. They're often up before dawn, and the ones who've been doing it for years tend to have a coffee mug they won't let anyone else touch. A gift that nods to the booth works well: a tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly studio, or a mug that says radio host on it so the coffee stays theirs. Put the station's call letters or the show name on the second line if you know it, or their on-air name if they go by one. That's the detail that makes it feel like it was made for them, not picked off a rack. Most radio hosts also work events and remotes, so something they can wear out in public tends to get used.
