About this research internship gift
A research internship is often the first real look someone gets at how science works: long days in a lab, pipetting that never seems to end, and a bit of luck when an experiment finally produces something usable. Interns are usually students or early-career people, often running on little sleep and a lot of coffee, and they tend to remember the people who noticed their effort. A shirt or mug that names the internship is a way to say you saw the work, not just the title on a résumé. Put the word research internship on the design and add the lab, department or the year underneath if you know it. For a student heading into their last year of school, a hoodie with the internship and year works well for the cold lab days and the drive home. It's a small thing, but it marks a stretch of work that a lot of people look back on with pride.
All research internship gifts →- A tee for the lab bagA research internship shirt is easy to wear to the lab, the library or the bus stop on the way in. Add the lab name or the season in the second line.
- A hoodie for the cold buildingMany labs and campus buildings run cold, so a hoodie with the internship and the year will get real use through the winter.
- A mug for early morningsAn 11 oz mug is a good fit for someone who starts the day with coffee before the first experiment runs.
- A kids or dark tee for a family cheerIf the intern is a family member, a dark tee in their size shows support on the day they finish or present their work.
