About this supervisor sap gift
A supervisor sap is someone who spends the day keeping a crew running, handing out assignments, covering the gaps and absorbing the complaints that flow uphill and downhill. Their gifts tend to be practical and a little wry, the kind that acknowledge the job without making a speech about it. A soft tee for the long shift, a hoodie for the chilly office or the early site walk, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it stops wandering into the break room. The word supervisor sap is a good fit for this kind of gift because it's playful and a little self-aware, which many people in this role appreciate. If you know the crew or the department they run, add a second line with the team name or the year they took over, so the shirt reflects their particular corner of the work.
