Proud Switchboard Operator Script & Block tee

About this switchboard operator gift

A switchboard operator is the person who connected calls before automatic dialing made the job mostly a memory, and the people who did it still talk about the rhythm of plugs, cords and the voice that said, number please. Many of them worked long shifts at a desk, which makes a comfortable tee or hoodie a practical gift, and a mug they can take to the kitchen after retirement is a small way of saying their work counted. Switchboard operators were often in the background of the story, so a gift with their title on it puts them front and center. Add a line with their name, the company they worked for or the years they served, and the shirt becomes a record of a career rather than a generic occupation design. If you're buying for a former colleague or a retirement party, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name for a group of operators who worked together.
