Proud University Professor Script & Block mug

About this university professor gift

A university professor spends the day grading in a coffee-stained office, running between lectures, and answering the same email about the syllabus for the third time. What tends to land with them is a gift that acknowledges the long hours of reading, writing and office hours that never show up on a paycheck. A mug for the desk is the obvious choice, since most professors live on coffee during the term and their mug is practically part of the faculty meeting. A hoodie suits the cold lecture hall and the walk across campus, and a tee works well for the weekend when they finally stop thinking about their students. Add the title, the department or the year they started, and the gift becomes a little more theirs. Many professors also like a gift that marks an achievement, like a tenure year or a book publication, and a customized mug or shirt can celebrate that without feeling like a formal plaque.
