About this wire cutter gift
A wire cutter is someone whose hands are almost always busy with a crimp tool, a cable spool, or a pair of snips that have been sharpened more times than they can count. Electricians, linemen, telecom techs and fiber splicers all carry the tool, and they tend to read a gift on the job site the same way they read a wiring diagram: fast, and looking for what's useful. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the shop, or a mug for the truck or the van, lands better than anything decorative. Put their trade, or the company or crew name if they've got one, on the second line, and the shirt starts to sound like the person who wears it. Wire cutter is a fairly specific word, so the designs read like a job title that's been worn in: plain, sturdy and clearly for someone who works with their hands.
