About this coding quality auditor gift
A coding quality auditor spends their days reading other people's code and asking the uncomfortable questions: where are the tests, why does this function do three things, what happens when the input is empty. They're often the person in the room who slows a release down so it doesn't break later, and that can make them the least thanked person on a team. A gift that says what they do, in their own words, tends to land well because it treats the job as the skill it is. Put coding quality auditor on a tee or hoodie for the long review sessions, or on a mug for the morning when the first pull request is waiting. If they audit for a particular language or team, add it on the second line so the shirt reads as theirs and not as a generic tech shirt. A kids tee or onesie makes a joke gift for a parent who's always pointing out bugs at dinner.
