About this acting manager gift
An acting manager is doing the job before the title is official, and anyone who's been there knows it's a strange spot. You're running the schedule, answering the questions, and covering the gaps, often while the promotion paperwork catches up. A gift for them works best when it says you've noticed. A tee or hoodie that reads Acting Manager is a small piece of recognition they might not be getting anywhere else yet, and a little humor goes a long way here, since most acting managers have a good sense of how odd the arrangement is. Add their name, or put the team or department on the second line, if the design has one. Because they often step in during a transition, a gift also lands well when a boss leaves, a team reshuffles, or the permanent role is finally confirmed. If the whole team is behind them, the Team Shop can print one design with everyone's name.
All acting manager gifts →- A desk-ready mugAn 11 oz mug that says Acting Manager with their name underneath. It sits next to the keyboard and gets used through every long afternoon of covering for the team.
- A hoodie for the office that's always coldPut Acting Manager on a hoodie they can keep at work. It's a low-key way to say the extra responsibility hasn't gone unnoticed.
- Matching shirts from the teamPick one design in the Team Shop and paste in everyone's names, so the whole group shows up in shirts to back their acting manager. It works well for a team lunch or a first week in the role.
- A tee for the day it becomes officialIf the promotion comes through, a tee with their new title and name marks the moment. Order the acting version now and the permanent one later, and they get a before-and-after pair.
