About this actuary manager gift
An actuary manager spends the day deciding how likely things are to go wrong, and then explaining it clearly to people who'd rather not hear it. They've passed a long run of exams, they lead a team of analysts and students still working through their own, and they're the one in the room who actually knows what the model assumes. That's a person who appreciates a gift with a little dry humor in it. A tee, hoodie or mug that nods to the work, without trying too hard, tends to get kept and worn. You can make it theirs by typing in their title, their credentials like FSA or FCAS, or the name of their team. For a manager, a team gift can work especially well: one design with each analyst's name on their own shirt for the end of exam season, a promotion, or a work anniversary.
