About this aircraft engineer gift
Aircraft engineers spend their days making sure thousands of pounds of metal do something most people still find a little miraculous. Some of them work in hangars on maintenance checks, some in design offices, some on the ramp in the cold at five in the morning. Whatever the setting, the job runs on precision and paperwork, and the people doing it are usually proud of both. That pride is the way into a good gift. A shirt or hoodie that names the trade tells them you noticed what they do. Make it theirs by typing in their name, a specialty like avionics or structures, or the airline or hangar crew they work with, in your own words. Hoodies suit the drafty hangar and early starts. A mug with their name on it holds up well in a workshop break room where every mug looks the same. For a new apprentice finishing a course or a retiring veteran, adding the year gives the gift a date worth keeping.
