About this alstead gift
Alstead is a small town, and the people who grew up there or moved back to it tend to hold on to that. A shirt with the town name is how someone shows they're from a place that doesn't show up on every map, whether they're wearing it to the general store, a school event or a reunion with friends who left and came back. Small towns also run on community pride, so a hoodie for the cold months or a mug for the kitchen table fits right in. If you're shopping for someone who loves their hometown, a town shirt with a second line for their street, their class year or the year they moved in makes it theirs. Because it's a small place, the person may never have seen a shirt with their town on it, and that surprise often matters more than the design itself.
