About this alturas gift
Alturas is a small town in far northeastern California, the county seat of Modoc County, and most people who live there know each other by name. That closeness is what makes a gift land: a shirt that says Alturas tells the person you're thinking of where they're from, and it's the kind of thing they'll wear to the hardware store, the high school game, or the trip out of state when someone asks where they're from. Because the town is quiet and far from big cities, a local-pride piece tends to be worn more than a souvenir. For someone who grew up there and moved away, an Alturas mug on the desk is a daily reminder of home. For a family member still there, a hoodie for the cold high-desert winter is a practical gift with a hometown twist. Type Alturas into the design, and add a second line with a school, a graduating year, or a family name to make it theirs.
