About this application processor gift
An application processor is the chip that runs a phone's operating system and apps, so the person who designs, verifies or tunes one usually spends long stretches in a lab or on a long debugging session, often staring at waveforms and timing reports. They tend to be quiet about the work and proud of it, which makes a gift with the job title on it land well. A plain tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly lab or the late-night push before tapeout, or a mug that finally answers the question of what they do all day. Type application processor into the text box on any design and the preview shows you how the words sit before you order. If you know their team, group or specialty, you can add it on the second line, which turns a generic job shirt into one that's clearly theirs.
All application processor gifts →- A tee for the labA light or dark tee with application processor across the front is a comfortable everyday choice for someone who works on silicon.
- A hoodie for late nightsLate debugging and bring-up sessions run cold, so a hoodie with their job title on it is practical as well as personal.
- A mug for the design reviewAn 11 oz mug gives them a reason to smile at the coffee station before the schedule meeting starts.
- Kids tees for a family jokeIf they explain their work to the kids at the dinner table, a kids tee with the same title makes the family joke official.
