About this asset manager gift
Asset managers spend their days watching portfolios, reading quarterly reports and explaining to clients why the numbers moved, so the gifts they tend to keep are the ones that make the long days feel a little lighter. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the chilly commute or the cold office, and a mug for the desk where the coffee goes cold while they're on a call. What lands best is something that shows you noticed what they do. Put their name on it, and add the firm's city, their team or their credential, such as CFA or CAIA, if they earned it. Only add a credential they actually hold, and when you're unsure, a simple title or their first name works just as well. A name and a role turn a generic work shirt into something they'll wear on a Saturday, not just on a Monday.
