About this background investigator gift
Background investigators spend their days digging through records, calling references and writing reports that someone else will act on, often with little credit. They work for employers, agencies and clearance offices, and much of the job happens at a desk with a stack of files and a lot of phone calls. A gift that acknowledges the detail work lands well. A soft tee for days in the office, a hoodie for the drive between interviews, or a mug for the long report-writing afternoon all give them something that is theirs. Put the job title on it, or add the year they started or a line about their agency or firm, and it stops being a generic work shirt. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt is an easy way to say thanks for the careful work nobody sees.
