About this banning gift
Banning is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to hold on to it. Whoever you're buying for might be someone who left for college or work and still tells people where they're from, or someone who never left and knows every road. A Banning shirt works for both: it's a simple way to say where they belong without a long explanation. Since a town like this doesn't have the sprawl of a big city, a shirt with the town name is often the kind of thing that gets worn to the local gathering, to the store, and to the out-of-town wedding where someone asks where they're from. A hoodie suits the cooler months and a mug suits the morning coffee routine. If you want it to feel personal, add a second line with a street, a school class year, or a family name, and the design becomes their own.
