About this basking ridge gift
Basking Ridge is a small place in Somerset County, New Jersey, and the people who call it home tend to stay put, raise their kids in the same school district, and root for the local everything. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there, or moved in for the schools and the quiet streets, shows that Basking Ridge is theirs. It's a gift that works for a long-time resident who has never once thought about leaving, for a grandparent who wants the grandkids to wear their hometown, or for a newcomer still learning the name. Add a second line with a street, a school year or a family name and it stops being a souvenir and becomes a personal marker. A mug suits the morning routine at home, a hoodie suits the cold months, and a kids tee or onesie lets a family dress its youngest members in the place they belong.
