About this berlin gift
Berlin is a city of old bells, sharp coffee, late nights and a lot of history you can still walk past on the way to the bakery. A person from Berlin, or someone who lived there for a while, carries that with them, and a shirt that just says Berlin is a small way of saying they're still part of it. Berlin also has a strong sense of its own neighborhoods, from Kreuzberg to Prenzlauer Berg, and many people feel most tied to one district rather than the whole city. Add the district or the year they lived there and the shirt becomes a record of their time in the city rather than a souvenir. For someone who moved away, a mug with Berlin on it is an easy daily reminder. Keep the design simple, and let the second line carry the personal detail.
