About this brainard gift
Brainard is a small name, and that's the first thing to know about this page. Brainard is a surname and also a place name, and the designs use the word itself, so the people who'd wear it are likely the ones who carry the name or who have a connection to a town or neighborhood by that name. Because the word is uncommon, a gift lands best when it's personal: a shirt or mug that names the family or the place, with a second line for a year, a street, a reunion or a hometown detail only the recipient would recognize. If you know the town the name comes from or the family's story, put that on the second line so the shirt means something beyond the word. Hoodies suit a cold-weather gift for someone who has lived in or left the place, and mugs work well for the kitchen where a family gathers. If you're ordering for several relatives at once, the Team Shop lets you use one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
