About this brookesmith gift
Brookesmith is a small place, and that's the whole point of it. People who grew up there tend to carry the name with them, whether they're still around the corner or three states away. A shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from without a long explanation, and it's the kind of gift that gets worn to the same few places: a local ballgame, a family cookout, the grocery store on a Saturday. Because the name is unusual, most shoppers will find it on fewer shirts than they'd expect, which is part of its charm. Add a second line with a year they moved, a street, or a family name and the shirt becomes about their particular corner of the place. For someone who left and misses home, a mug or hoodie gives them that feeling every morning or every cold evening.
