About this brooktondale gift
Brooktondale is a small hamlet in the town of Caroline in Tompkins County, New York, in the Finger Lakes region. Because it's so small, a shirt with the name is the kind of thing that sparks a conversation with anyone who knows the place, and most people who wear it are proud of a place that doesn't show up on every map. The people who'd receive this gift are likely to be locals, former residents, or family who grew up there and moved away. For them, a tee or hoodie is a way to carry home with them. Keep the design simple and let the name do the work. A second line for a street, a year they lived there, or a family name can make it theirs. For someone who has left, an 11 oz mug with the name is a small daily reminder of where they're from.
