About this camillus gift
Camillus is a village in Onondaga County in upstate New York, and the people who grew up there or still call it home tend to be proud of their small corner of the state. A Camillus shirt is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, whether that's for a hometown weekend, a family reunion, or a move to a bigger city that never quite feels like home. Because the village is small, a shirt with the name on it reads as personal rather than generic, and people from nearby towns will often recognize it instantly. For someone who has left and misses the place, a mug in the morning is a simple reminder of home. For someone still living there, a hoodie for the cold months works well. Add a second line with the year they moved or the street they grew up on, and the gift becomes about their own story rather than just the map.
