About this central services tech gift
Central services techs keep the building running behind the scenes: the sterilizers, the instrument trays, the supply carts that have to be ready before the first case starts. Most of their work goes unnoticed until something is missing, which is a big part of why a gift with their title on it feels good to receive. They spend long shifts on their feet and often in cold, humid rooms, so a soft tee for the drive in or a hoodie for the chilly prep area gets real use. A mug with their job title is the one that ends up on the break room shelf. To make it theirs, add the line they actually say at work, like their name, their shift, or the hospital unit, in the second line of the design. Those small details tell them you know what their job involves, not just what it's called.
