About this chemistry internship gift
A chemistry intern is usually a student or recent grad spending a summer or a semester in a lab, running assays, cleaning glassware and trying to look like they know what they're doing. They're tired, a little nervous and probably eating lunch at a bench. What lands for them is something that says they belong there: a tee for the first week, a hoodie for the cold lab, a mug that's clearly theirs when the coffee machine is shared by forty people. Put the word chemistry internship on the front and add their name or the year underneath, and it becomes a keepsake they'll wear to the next interview and remember later. Internships often end in late summer or in December, so a gift timed to the last week tends to mean more than one that arrives on the first day.
