About this chickasha gift
Chickasha is a small city in Grady County, Oklahoma, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Chickasha shirt says you're from a place where everybody knows the high school mascot and the Friday night lights are a real event. For someone who left for college or a job in Oklahoma City or Dallas, a Chickasha tee or mug is a quiet way to say home is still part of who they are. For the family that stayed, a hoodie for the chilly football season or a mug for the kitchen table keeps the connection close. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street or a nickname from the old neighborhood, and the design stops being a town souvenir and becomes theirs.
