About this cumberland gift
Cumberland is a place name that carries a lot of history for the people who live there, and the list of towns and counties that share the name is long, from Maryland's mountain city to the Cumberland River that runs through Kentucky and Tennessee. A shirt or mug with Cumberland on it usually goes to someone who grew up there, went to school there, or still has family close by and calls it home. The best gifts for them are the ones that feel like they belong to that place. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a high school or a year they lived there, and the design becomes a conversation starter instead of a souvenir. A Cumberland hoodie suits someone who gets cold in winter and still wears their hometown proudly, and a mug is the easy choice for the person who starts every morning with coffee and a little nostalgia. For someone who moved away, a Cumberland shirt is a quiet reminder of where they started.
