About this de pere gift
De Pere is a small city on the Fox River in northeastern Wisconsin, a short drive from Green Bay and close enough that plenty of people split their lives between the two. A De Pere shirt is how someone who grew up there, or raised a family there, shows where they're from when they're out of town. It's the tee for the Packers game-day crowd who still say the city name with pride, the hoodie for a long northern winter, and the mug for the kitchen table where the morning news gets read. Many people from De Pere leave for school or work and come back for holidays, so a shirt with the city name is a gift that fits both the person who stayed and the one who moved away. Add a second line such as a street, a high school class year or a family name to make it theirs.
