About this del rio gift
Del Rio is a small city in Val Verde County, Texas, on the Rio Grande just across from Ciudad Acuña, Mexico, and the people who grew up there carry that border town pride wherever they end up. A Del Rio shirt is how a former resident waves the flag at a reunion, a college campus far from home, or a Texas high school alumni game. Because it's a close-knit place where many families have been around for generations, a design that adds a family name or a graduating class year tends to land well. For someone who left Del Rio for work or school and misses the hometown, a mug with the city name is the daily reminder of where they're from. Many designs come in a few formats, including kids tees and baby onesies, so a gift can reach a whole family of Del Rio people at once.
