About this design engineering internship gift
A design engineering intern is usually a student or recent grad spending a summer or semester learning how products actually get made, from sketches and CAD models to prototypes that either work or don't. Long hours at a workbench or in front of a screen mean the gifts they'll actually use are the practical ones: a soft tee for the walk to the shop, a hoodie for the chilly lab, a mug for the coffee that keeps them going through a late review. What lands best is something that marks this specific stint, since internships are short and easy to forget. Put the internship title on the shirt, add the company name or the year, and it becomes a small memento of a season that mattered. If you're buying for a group of interns starting together, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name gives the whole cohort matching shirts for their first week.
