About this diet tech gift
A diet tech, often called a dietetic technician, works alongside registered dietitians in hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools and community clinics. They help prepare therapeutic meal plans, track patients' intake, and answer the questions that come up when someone's diet suddenly has to change. It's detailed, behind-the-scenes work, and the people who do it often get less recognition than they deserve. A shirt, hoodie or mug with their profession on it is a simple way to say you noticed. Add their workplace, their credential if they have one, or their graduation year. For someone just finishing a dietetic technician program, a hoodie is a practical gift for the cold walk into a clinic, and a mug suits the break room where they'll spend a lot of their time planning meals.
