About this director college gift
A director of college admissions, housing, athletics or student life usually works long hours, takes calls from anxious families and watches the same campus traditions turn over every few years. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge that work without getting sentimental about it. A soft tee for a weekend on campus, a hoodie for the chilly early-morning walk to the office, a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee they drink while reviewing applications. Put their title on it, and add the school or department on a second line, so it reads as their role and not a generic office shirt. If you're buying for a whole staff, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop works better than a card passed around the office. Graduation season in May is the busiest stretch for this job, so order early if the gift is meant for that week.
