About this director publication gift
A director of publications usually sits at the center of a lot of moving parts: editors, designers, printers, and deadlines that never quite line up. They often work late to get the next issue or annual report out the door, and the people who value that work are the ones who know how much coordination it takes. A gift that reflects the job, like a tee or hoodie with their title on it, lands well because it's both useful and a little bit of recognition. Add the publication name, the organization, or a year, and the design stops being generic and starts looking like theirs. For a team that puts out a newsletter, magazine, or catalog each year, a Team Shop order with everyone's name can mark a milestone like a big launch or a retirement. A mug works just as well for the desk, where the early drafts and red-pen edits happen.
