About this director skills gift
Someone with director skills is usually the one holding a schedule, a budget and a dozen people's expectations at once. They run the meeting that has to end on time, they make the call when two teams disagree, and they're often the first in and last out of the building. A gift for them should acknowledge that load without being corny about it. Their office is probably cold, their coffee goes cold while they're on calls, and they'd rather not be seen carrying anything too showy. A plain tee or a hoodie they can wear on a weekend is the kind of gift they'll actually keep. Put the phrase director skills on the front, and use the second line for their team or department, or the year they took the role. That turns a generic professional gift into one that clearly belongs to them. An 11 oz mug covers the early-morning version of the same idea, and it's the one they'll reach for before the first meeting.
