About this director unit gift
A director unit usually means someone who runs a group of people, a program or a set of responsibilities, and their day is a steady stream of meetings, decisions and people asking them for things. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the role without making a speech about it. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold conference room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it stops wandering off the desk. Put the title on the shirt, and if the unit has a name or a function, add that on a second line so it reads as their role rather than a generic job tee. If you're buying for a whole team that reports to them, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better way to say thanks than another round of cake in the break room. Pick a time that isn't crowded, since performance reviews and year-end wrap-ups tend to make the office busy in late fall and early winter.
