About this dosimetrist gift
A dosimetrist works behind the scenes in radiation oncology, calculating how much radiation a tumor needs and how to shape the beams so healthy tissue around it gets as little as possible. They work closely with physicists and radiation oncologists, and most of the planning happens at a workstation long before a patient ever sees the treatment room. That quiet, precise work is easy to overlook, which is exactly why a gift that names their job tends to mean a lot. A tee or hoodie with dosimetrist on it gives them something to wear to a conference or on a weekend, and a mug with their name on it marks their spot in a shared break room. If they've just finished certification or a clinical rotation, a graduation hoodie with the year is a good way to mark the milestone. Add their credential if they have one, and say so in the second line rather than guessing at letters.
