About this duck hill gift
Duck Hill is a small place, and people who come from small places tend to hold on to them. A gift with the town name on it says that home still counts, even for someone who's lived in a bigger city for years. A shirt or hoodie is an easy way to wear it on a trip back, a weekend at the lake, or a cold morning at the bus stop. Because it's a small town, most people who see the design will know exactly where it's from, and that kind of recognition is part of the fun. The mug works well for the person who keeps coming back to the same hometown in their head. Since we don't know much about the town's local details, the best way to make it personal is to add something from their own life: the year they left or came back, the name of their street, or the high school class they graduated with.
