About this edgartown gift
Edgartown is the old whaling town on the southeast side of Martha's Vineyard, the kind of place where people who grew up there and people who summer there both feel a little proud of the name. A shirt that says Edgartown is how a year-round local shows where they're from, and how a summer regular announces they've been coming back for decades. Harbor walks, early mornings at the docks and cold evenings at the lighthouse all fit a hoodie better than a formal gift does. For someone who has left the island, a mug on the kitchen counter brings the place back every morning. Add a second line with the year they first came, a street, or the name of the boat they crew on, and the shirt becomes theirs and not just a souvenir. Many designs come in kids and baby sizes too, so a whole family can match.
