About this elkader gift
Elkader is a small town in northeast Iowa, the county seat of Clayton County, and the kind of place where people tend to stay put or come back. A shirt with Elkader on it is a way for a local to show where they're from, whether they're wearing it around town or several states away. Because it's a small place, a town name often means more to the people who grew up there than any souvenir ever could. For the family member who moved for work or school, an Elkader hoodie or mug is the reminder of home on a cold morning. Add a year, a graduating class or a street name in the second line, and it becomes something only the people who know the town will fully understand.
