About this fordville gift
Fordville is a small place, and people who come from it tend to hold on to that. A shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from when they're far away, whether that's a college dorm two states over or a new job in a bigger city. Small towns have their own kind of pride: the high school game, the summer fair, the diner everyone knows, the people who remember you as a kid. A Fordville shirt or mug carries that in a way a generic souvenir can't. You can add a second line for a year, a street, a graduating class or a family name to make it theirs. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. For someone still there, a hoodie is the thing they'll wear to every local event for years.
