About this fort gordon gift
Fort Gordon is an Army post in Augusta, Georgia, and a lot of the people who've lived there carry it with them long after the orders change. For a soldier, a spouse or a child who grew up on post, a Fort Gordon shirt is a way of saying where they came from and who they're still connected to. Many of the people who wear it went through Signal training or Cyber school, which makes the post feel like a second hometown. It's also the kind of place where families move every few years, so a mug or hoodie that marks a tour or a homecoming means a lot. Add the year they were stationed there, or their unit or course, and it becomes theirs instead of a generic base shirt. Spouses and kids are often the ones who remember the post best, so include them in your thinking too.
