About this garrattsville gift
Garrattsville is a small hamlet in Otsego County, New York, and the people who grew up there, or who still call it home, tend to hold on to that tie. A shirt with the name on it is how they say so, whether it's to someone at a wedding who asks where they're from, or to the few other Garrattsville folks they run into when they're far from home. Small places have their own kind of pride. The people there know each other, the roads and the seasons, and a gift with the name of the hamlet on it reflects that. Many designs have a second line, which you can use for a street, a year, or a nickname that only the locals would get. A mug works well for a longtime resident or a family that's been there for generations, and a hoodie suits someone heading into a cold upstate winter.
