Geographic Information Systems Coordinator Retro Sunset tee

About this geographic information systems coordinator gift

A GIS coordinator spends their days making maps that other people actually use, wrangling spatial data from surveyors, planners and field crews, and turning messy layers into something a city council or utility can act on. The work is detail-heavy and often invisible until a map goes wrong, so a gift that acknowledges the craft tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title gives them something to wear on the days they're at a desk building geodatabases or on a field visit checking coordinates. A mug suits the long stretch of editing and quality control that fills most of the week. Add a second line with their department, agency or the year they started, and it becomes theirs. Many designs come in both light and dark colors, so you can pick the shade that suits their wardrobe. If you're buying for a whole GIS team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is an easy way to mark a shared project or a milestone.
