About this girdler gift
Girdler is not a word most people will recognize, and that is worth saying plainly before anything else. Your recipient may be someone who lives in a town called Girdler, or it may be a family name that carries a place, a history or a local pride you know better than the store does. The safest way to make this gift land is to put the word in your own hands: type Girdler exactly as they would spell it, then use the second line for whatever you know about the place, such as a neighborhood, a county or the year they moved there. A tee or hoodie with the name on it works for everyday wear, and a mug is an easy pick for someone who likes a morning ritual at home. If you find out the place is small or you aren't sure how it is spelled locally, a simple design with just the name and your own second line will look better than a guess.
