About this griffith gift
Griffith is a Welsh name that's shown up in a lot of families over the years, and it's often the kind of surname people end up explaining at the start of every introduction. A Griffith shirt gives a family something to rally around, whether that's a reunion, a wedding weekend, or a holiday photo where everyone wants to match. Griffith also turns up as a place name in several US towns and in Los Angeles, so a shopper might be buying for someone who grew up near Griffith Park or simply carries the name as a family line. Either way, the surname is the anchor. Add a reunion year, a hometown, or the first names of the people wearing it, and the shirt stops being generic and starts telling the family's story. For a Griffith who's been on the receiving end of mispronunciations for decades, a mug with their name on it is a small, daily sign that somebody got it right.
