About this gunner mate gift
A gunner's mate is a Navy rating that works with the weapons systems on a ship, from the guns and missile launchers to the magazines and ammunition that keep them firing. Most of that work happens in cramped spaces, with hot gear, long watches and a lot of maintenance nobody sees until something goes wrong. A gift that acknowledges the rating tends to land well: a tee for the drive home from a long deployment, a hoodie for a cold pier, or a mug for the galley coffee that has to survive a shared mess. Add their rank or command on a second line if you know it, or the years they served, so the shirt is theirs and not a generic Navy design. If you're buying for a whole division, the Team Shop lets you use one design and paste each sailor's name so everyone gets a shirt with their own name on it.
