About this hospital supervisor gift
A hospital supervisor usually came up through the floor, so they've worked the night shifts, covered the short-staffed weekends and then spent their days in meetings deciding who gets scheduled where. Their job is keeping a unit running when the census spikes and the call-outs pile up, and most of the thanks they get is quiet. A gift that acknowledges that lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it works for the drive in and the rare day off, and a mug is the one thing on the desk that's entirely theirs. You can make it personal by adding their name, the unit or department they oversee, or a line like Charge Nurse if that's where they started. Supervisor Week and Nurses Week both fall in spring, but a gift for a supervisor is welcome any time they've had a hard stretch.
