About this human resource intern gift
A human resource intern is usually in their first real office job, sitting in on interviews, learning payroll, and figuring out how a company actually runs behind the scenes. The days can be long and the work is mostly learning, so the gifts that land are the ones that say you noticed how hard they're working. A tee for the first week back at school or the start of a summer placement, a hoodie for the chilly conference room where the thermostat never agrees with anyone, or a mug for the morning coffee before the first meeting. Add the word intern and their name, or the year they started, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. Many interns are finishing a semester or a program in the spring or late summer, which is a natural moment to mark the milestone.
