About this island pond gift
Island Pond is a small town in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, the kind of place where people know each other by truck and by family name. Residents who grew up there often carry it with them when they leave, and a shirt with the town name is a quiet way of saying where they're from. A small-town gift works best when it fits the life: an everyday tee for errands and chores, a hoodie for the cold months that come early up that way, or a mug for the morning coffee on the porch. You can add a year or a family name on the second line to make it personal, such as the year they graduated from the local school or the year they moved back. For someone who has moved away, a town shirt is often the first thing they reach for when they want to feel close to home.
